Things to Remember for 2011-2012
- IF YOU DO NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES, YOU WILL HAVE THE SAME SELECTIONS AND WAIVERS THAT YOU DID FOR LAST SCHOOL YEAR. You can make changes August 8th - 31st only.
- Enrollment schedule 2011-2012: We will try to call you down either by last name, department, or grade level. If you have elected to sign up online prior to these dates, YOU MUST TURN IN YOUR CONSOLIDATED ENROLLMENT FORM ON YOUR CAMPUSES ASSIGNED DATE.
- All qualifying employees, remember to PRINT OFF YOUR TRS ACTIVE CARE APPLICATION OR WAIVER and physically return it to Rick Tidwell in the business office. Failure to do so may interfere with your ability to have health insurance through TRS and/or make changes. With our online enrollment system, you can fill in your TRS form, but YOU MUST PRINT IT OUT AND TURN IT IN.
- Bland ISD Insurance Cafeteria plan year is September 1, 2011 through August 30, 2012.
- Ameritas is the Dental provider for Bland ISD. Plan summary with schedules and rates are available, click on Benefits & Forms.THESE RATES DID NOT CHANGE FOR 2011-2012!
- Ameritas is the Vision provider for Bland ISD. Plan summary is available, click on Benefit & Forms. THESE RATES DID NOT CHANGE FOR 2011-2012!
- The Unum Educator Select Disability plan is the Disability plan option this year for Bland ISD. Employees can enroll in the plan on a guarantee issue basis. Plan brochure and rates are available, click on Benefit & Forms. THESE RATES DID NOT CHANGE FOR 2011-2012!
- Met Life is the term life plan option this year for Bland ISD. Plan summary information and rates are available, click on Benefit & Forms. RATE INCREASE FOR 2011-2012!
- Oppenheimer Funds is the College Savings plan being offered this year. This money can be used for in or out of state school and public or private schools. The minimum amount to start a plan is either a low initial contribution of $250 or $25 per month.
